Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed when using SermonEase.
By using SermonEase, you agree to this policy.
1. Respectful and Lawful Use
You may use SermonEase only for lawful, authorized, and respectful purposes.
You may not use SermonEase to create, process, store, or distribute content that is illegal, abusive, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
2. Content Rights
You may only upload or submit sermon transcripts, audio, text, or other content if you have the right to use that content.
You may not upload content that infringes copyright, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, or other rights.
3. Abuse and Security
You may not:
- Attempt to bypass free usage limits
- Create multiple accounts to obtain extra free usage
- Share accounts in ways that violate plan limits
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to abuse the service
- Interfere with or overload the service
- Attempt to access another user's account or content
- Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without permission
- Upload malware, malicious files, or harmful code
4. Prohibited Content
You may not use SermonEase to generate or distribute content that:
- Promotes violence or physical harm
- Harasses, threatens, or abuses individuals or groups
- Contains hateful or discriminatory content
- Intentionally deceives people
- Violates privacy rights
- Encourages illegal activity
- Contains malware or phishing content
- Is spam or unauthorized advertising
5. AI Output Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated outputs before publishing or sharing them.
You may not present AI-generated outputs as fully reviewed, pastor-approved, or doctrinally approved unless they have actually been reviewed by an appropriate person in your church or organization.
6. Email and Communication Abuse
If SermonEase provides email or sharing features, you may not use them to send spam, unauthorized marketing, harassment, malware, or misleading messages.
You are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions before sending messages to recipients.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this policy.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe a user has violated this policy, created risk, or abused the service.
We may also remove content or disable features when necessary to protect users, our service, or third parties.
